Virtual organizing is similar to traditional organizing session, only instead of meeting face to face, the client and Professional Organizer work together via mobile device or webcam. Virtual platforms such as FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, and Google Hangouts would work for these sessions. The Professional Organizer would meet with the client for a virtual 30 minute consultation and the client would walk through their space with their mobile device/webcam. The Professional Organizer will ask questions about organizing styles, goals, and challenges. Finally, the Professional Organizer and client would determine if virtual organizing is the best option, based on client's organizational ability and project scope. The most successful clients for virtual organizing are those who already have organizing skills and are simply stuck on a certain project or need professional guidance. Clients who choose virtual organizing must be able and willing to do the hands-on work of sorting, decluttering, and organizing.
Location is the number one reason clients choose virtual organizing. If you live outside of the Houston, Texas area and want to work with Peace & Order, this will be the best option.
Virtual organizing clients must purchase our hourly session rate of $40. Depending on the size of the project, multiple sessions will be needed. For example, the first session will be an in-depth examination of the trouble area and creating an action plan. Also, homework assignments will be given for the client to complete on their own. The second session focuses on action and results. Additional hours can be purchased if the project needs more time.
During the consultation, a project date(s) will be scheduled and the total sessions amount will be due at the end of the consultation. No virtual services will be provided without 100% payment up front.
